Centre for Cellular Imaging
The Centre for Cellular Imaging (CCI) is a national core facility that integrates both light and electron microscopy. The CCI offers open-access state-of-the-art imaging equipment. Researchers from universities or companies in Sweden and from abroad are equally welcome!
If you need consultation on setting up your microscopy or image analysis experiment, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can discuss your scientific question and analysis needs. This will allow you to choose the right instrumentation for your task. We maintain all instrumentation in close collaboration with the microscope suppliers to ascertain the highest quality of your results. We can offer you both theoretical and hands-on training so you independently can use our equipment, which can then be rented by the hour.
To ensure smooth communication during the summer period, we kindly ask that all inquiries be directed to cci@gu.se. This way, your request will reach the staff member available on-site, regardless of individual vacation schedules.

Microscope Availability
-  Light Microscopy: One of our colleagues will be available throughout the summer. However, due to reduced staffing, please make sure to book staff support well in advance.
- Electron Microscopy: The TEM will not be available for booking between July 14 and August 8. The SEM will not be available for booking between July 14 and July 28.
As staffing will be limited overall, we kindly ask for your help in ensuring that all microscope rooms and lab spaces are properly closed and that lights are turned off after use.
