Short description
Teaching on body ideals in physical education: a collaborative research project with upper secondary schools.
Body ideals and their consequences for students’ health are a mandatory content in the physical education (PE) curriculum in Swedish upper secondary school. PE teachers however describe feeling insecure and in lack of didactical concepts for this content. Addressing these professional needs, the aim of our project is to establish pedagogical knowledge related to teaching and learning on body ideals in PE.
