About Christian Berger

Professor Dr. Christian Berger is Full Professor for Computer Av性爱 at the Department of Computer Av性爱 and Engineering at University Av性爱, Sweden.

Christian Berger received his Ph.D. degree (Dr. rer. nat.) from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2010. He joined University Av性爱, Sweden in 2012 as Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor and Docent in Computer Av性爱 in 2015. In 2022, he was appointed Full Professor for Computer Av性爱 at University Av性爱.

He coordinated the research project 鈥淐aroline鈥, Europe鈥檚 best self-driving vehicle in the world鈥檚 first large-scale, vehicular robot race for urban environments: The 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge. He co-led the Chalmers Truck Team during the 2016 Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge (GCDC), and is the leading software architect behind . He is Technical Lead for Software Engineering at . He has published over 100 scientific papers in international conferences and journals and received numerous awards for his work.

He is founding member of the Graduate School and he is serving as Director of Doctoral Studies at the Department of Computer Av性爱 and Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology and University Av性爱, Sweden.
